Soap Actress Jensen Buchanan Re-Arrested After violating Alcohol-Monitoring Requirements

Soap Actress Jensen Buchanan was re-arrested after allegedly drinking while on probation for driving under the influence.  The embattled One Life to Live and Another World actress was released from jail late last year after serving two months in jail for a DUI with injury case that left one man critically injured.  As a condition of her release, Buchanan was required to wear an alcohol monitoring device.  A Santa Barbara County Superior Court judge required Buchanan to surrender and remain in custody until the evidence would be heard on the probation violation.

Through her attorneys, Buchanan denies any consumption of alcohol during her monitoring period.  An expert from the alcohol monitoring company will be in attendance to testify about the results.  Buchanan was originally arrested in May 2016 after causing a head-on collision with another vehicle.  According to police reports, Buchanan had a blood alcohol level of 0.34 percent.  The collision left another driver with great bodily injury.  In the current case, probation officers allege that the alcohol monitor registered a reading of .18 percent.  Buchanan is scheduled to appear in court on March 2.
