Payment
Make a payment
At this time, payments can only be made in-person or over the phone at 714.245.9910. Accepted forms of payment include credit card, debit card, check, cash or money order. We do not accept digital wallet payments including Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or Venmo. Accepted credit cards include American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.
Check my balance
At this time, balances can only be viewed in-person or over the phone at 714.245.9910.
Set up autopay
At this time, autopay can only be setup in-person or over the phone at 714.245.9910. Accepted forms of autopay include credit or debit card. Accepted credit cards include American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.
Once set up, the charge will be automatically processed once per week. The day and date automated charges are processed is dependent on when monitoring services began and how much was paid at installation. Each charge is payment for the following week of electronic monitoring service. For example, an automated charge made on Monday, January 1st covers monitoring services provided from Monday, January 1st to Sunday, January 7th.
Late payment
If for any reason you are having difficulty making your weekly payments, please contact us before your next payment is due. Late or missed payments will incur late charges. We offer flexible payment schedules for participants experiencing financial difficulties.
SCRAM alcohol monitoring
Getting the bracelet wet
The SCRAM alcohol monitoring bracelet is water resistant, not waterproof. It cannot be submerged underwater. Do not swim, take baths or go into saunas. Showers are permitted.
Placing items under, on or around the bracelet
Foreign materials between the bracelet and skin can affect test results and cause false alerts or tampers. Do not place any material between the bracelet and skin, including socks, pants or other materials. Do not use any of the following under or on the bracelet or near the skin where it is worn:
– lotion
– sunscreen
– ointment
– body wash
– aftershave, hairspray or mousse
– rubbing alcohol
– nail polish remover
– bug spray
Permitted items include shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, and spray deodorant. None of these will affect test results.
Vibration
The SCRAM alcohol monitoring bracelet automatically tests for alcohol consumption every 30 minutes. Wearers will feel a slight vibration whenever the bracelet is taking a reading.
Alcohol in household products
Aside from drinks, some household items or cooking ingredients contain alcohol in various amounts. These items cannot be consumed. If you are unsure about the contents of an item, do not consume it. Common household items that may contain alcohol include:
– Liquid medications including Vicks Nyquil, Robitussin and Mucinex (tablets, capsules, and alcohol-free versions are permited)
– Mouthwash (can be used, must not be consumed)
– Non-alcoholic beer and wine
GPS tracking or home confinement
Getting the bracelet wet
The GPS tracking or home confinement bracelet is water resistant, not waterproof. It cannot be submerged underwater. Do not swim, take baths or go into saunas. Showers are permitted.
Charging
It is important to never let the GPS tracking or home confinement device run out of battery. While battery life expectancy is more than four days, it is recommend to charge the bracelet daily.
Equipment with strap
The on-body charger is a portable charging unit designed for on-the-go use and clips directly over the bracelet. When clipped, a slowly pulsing green light indicates a properly charging device. A rapidly flashing green light indicates the device is not charging because the battery is full or a poor connection. Either remove the charger or re-clip it accordingly. It takes approximately two hours to fully charge a low battery. Keep the on-body charger charged when not in use.
Equipment without strap (cuff only)
The portable charger is designed for on-the-go use, with a display that indicates battery charging status and audio notifications when charging is complete. It takes approximately two hours to fully charge a low battery. Keep the portable charger charged when not in use. Only use the provided charging cable to charge the portable charger.
Where can you go within your home
Participants are required to stay inside their place of residence during curfew hours. Participants are not allowed on the porch, balcony, deck, front or backyard, communal hallway, lobby or any other locations outside the walls of their residence.
Schedule
Participants are permitted to leave their home for pre-approved activities including work, therapy, religious obligations and certain chores. All permitted activities must take place within the pre-approved scheduled time. Early departures or late returns will result in a violation.
Schedule Changes
Schedule changes can be made over the phone at 714.245.9910. All changes must be requested at least 24 hours before the start of the scheduled time. Same day schedule changes are not permitted.
