Woman Arrested for 6 Previous Drunk Driving Arrests, Accused of 7th Hours After Leaving Court
According to KLAS (8 News Now) News, a woman was arrested for her 7th DUI mere hours after leaving court on a previous case. The Las Vegas woman, per their reporting, had allegedly committed 6 previous driving under the influence offenses. Prior to being arrested for her latest offense, she was reportedly appearing in court closing out a previous case.
Her driving privileges had been revoked by the Nevada DMV. Despite her many DUI-related arrests, the woman was released on her own recognizance. The judge said she was being released because the woman’s blood results had not been received by the prosecutors. The prosecutors did not ask the judge to hold the repeat offender.
The latest charge is apparently the seventh on her record since 2007. The arrest came after police found her stopped in the “middle of two travel lanes.” During their investigation, it was reported that she had signs of intoxication including slurred speech and watery eyes. She also urinated on herself according to 8 News Now reporting. Since the woman had her license revoked due to a prior DUI, she did not have a current license.
