SCRAM™ (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring System) is the first alcohol testing system to utilize the science of Transdermal Alcohol Testing (measures the skins secretions) in order to determine a person's blood alcohol content. Cost to subject is $15 per day.

roboCUFF- Voice Monitoring

roboCUFF performs both random and scheduled check-ins using both inbound and outbound calls to verify that each offender is at home, school, work, or other locations as authorized.

Naltrexone Program

• Reduces alcohol cravings
• Monitored dosing in office
• Physician prescription needed (referrals if needed)
• Proven effective in treatment of alcoholism

Naltrexone is a medicine approved in by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for treatment of alcoholism. By blocking neuron receptor sites producing the feelings of pleasure when using alcohol or narcotics, naltrexone reduces cravings and has proven a viable tool for sustained sobriety. Unlike Antabuse, naltrexone does not induce violent reactions to alcohol consumption. Prescribe by a private or recommended physician, dosages are administered and monitored at our facility. Only 10% of people taking naltrexone experience side effects such as nausea, headache and dizziness. Naltrexone, when combined with treatment, drastically improves chances of success when treating alcoholism.

The DMS counseling staff include county-approved counselors and treatment specialists. All substance abuse counseling is Probation approved and state certified.

Our counselors provide individual and group treatment for the following:

Behavior Modification – 10 week course:

• Petty Theft Counseling
• Group & Individual Sessions
• Decision Making
• Values Clarification

Anger Management – 10 week course

Both of the above classes include a Pyscho/social assessment and nine, individual, fifty- minute sessions. The cost of the assessment is $100, individual session are $65.

Individual Counseling (Drug and Alcohol offenders)

Fifty-minute sessions are offered at $65 per session.

Drug and Alcohol Eight Hour Classes (offered every Saturday)

This class, for first offenders covers drug, alcohol, decision making and AIDS awareness. Also covered is stress and anger management, tobacco cessation and education component.

Cost for pre-enrollment is $50. Participants must pre-enroll before scheduled class date with cash or credit card.

Once a week, the subject returns to the DMS facility to have the patch removed and replaced. The used patch is sent to a testing laboratory where it is tested for:

• Heroin
• Marijuana
• PCP
• Cocaine
• Methamphetamine

The cost to the subject is $50.00 per week.

U.A. (Urine Analysis) TESTING

DMS offers UA testing for individuals, Court cases and employee screening for private industry. UA testing is $25 per test.
